Sean Gordon

...is an actor based in New York City. He grew up under the fluorescence and intense heat of Friday Night Lights, in the welcoming communities of northeast Dallas. Like many southerners, sports were Sean's first love. They taught him everything he needed to know about hard work, discipline, and service. During that time in his life, Sean devoted himself to expanding his heart on and off the field. Then one day he discovered theater, and everything changed.

Much to his parents chagrin, instead of pursuing a collegiate football career, Sean chose a different path. He attended Texas A&M University, where he earned a BS in Industrial Engineering, and a double minor in Theater Arts & Mathematics. Don't let the engineering distract you, Sean never stopped acting or working on his craft. While in school, he fell into a blossoming theater community, and it was during this time that he was exposed to and trained in various theatrical disciplines such as: Viewpoints, Laban, Shakespeare, Mime, and Stage Combat (to name a few).

As he proudly proclaims: Engineering kept Sean focused, but theatre set him free.

After graduating, Sean briefly worked as an Enterprise PreSales Engineer for Dell Technologies in the heart of New York City. This opportunity helped him find his way to the city of his dreams. Then in the middle of a global pandemic, Sean stopped bullshitting himself and left that job to follow his heart.

Since then, Sean has worked on numerous projects that have enabled him to join Actor's Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. He worked on the sets of Billions and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, shortly before making his New York City stage debut in the World Premiere of Richard Willett's, 9/10  at the Gene Frankel Theater (directed by Eliza Beckwith). â€‹

Sean continues to hone his craft by studying with the likes of Scott Freeman and Tony Greco.

Whenever he's not on stage, on set, or rehearsing, Sean can be found perusing the parks of Manhattan with his four-legged best friend, Sunshine, or traveling the country to follow his wife in the Munchkinland Tour of "Wicked".

Sean is commercially represented by Ramona Pitera.
